What is the cooking time for a spit braai?

We only need two (2) hours to prepare you lamb. We will arrive 3 hours before serving time to set up and prepare ourselves for your function.

Do you bring tables to serve the food on?

Unfortunately not, we require the venue to provide us with a table to serve our food on.

Do you require electricity?

No, we operate on gas so this time you will not be influenced by load shedding.

How does the pricing work for our children?

Children under 12, pay half the quoted price on our menus, this excludes crockery and cutlery where they pay full price.

When do you need the final information?

We require final information 7 days before the function date.

Will you need any directions to our venue?

Should we not be able to locate your venue we will ask for your assistance.

Who does the clean up afterwards?

Everything that we brought we take away, except your food. Should you have hired the crockery and cutlery from us, we will clear this. No need to wash anything.

Do you cook it from raw on site?

Yes, we use our specifically designed gas operated spitbraai to cook your lamb on site.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Most definitely, please inform us of any special requests you might have. We will be happy to assist.

Can you do a spitbraai indoors?

We prefer outside, but if need be we can. Just know that it will get very hot inside.

What do you do with the leftover food?

We would love to leave this with you to enjoy further. Please just have bowls ready.

How does the payment work?

We require a 50% deposit to confirm you’re booking. The outstanding amount need to be paid seven (7) days before your function.

Do you provide any staff?

Our experts will come to your venue and prepare the meat on site. They will dish up and stay for another (1) hour after serving time.

What are the minimum numbers you cater for?

We require a minimum of 30 people for our spitbraai and a minimum of 35 people for our steak and traditional braai options. If you are less we will quote you on the minimum numbers.

How long will you serve the food for?

We request that you adhere to the serving time to ensure you get the quality that we promise. We will stay one (1) hour after serving time.

What about health & safety?

Our staff are well trained and we have full public liability insurance.

How far do you travel?

We cater for the whole of Gauteng. Please note that travel charges will be added to your invoice for any function outside the Lynnwood Glen, Pretoria area.
